Theodore McCleary is back for his second year at Nova Academy, joined by Carly and sort of ex-girlfriend, Maria. Things get off to a rocky start as the three attempt to navigate their way through a relationship minefield. To make matters worse, Theo is notified his access to the science labs is suspended for the year, due to excessive use the year before. It’s enough to drive a scientist mad.

Even as Theo’s world is crumbling, the telepaths are fighting the still living Wagner, in a silent war for control of the nation. It is not looking good for the pacifistic telepaths at Nova Academy, who come to Theo with a desperate plea for help.

As the conflict sparks into outright war, Theo decides he needs his own manufacturing facility. If only to build the weapons telepaths need to fight Wagner; keeping himself out of the war. But, the only way to get a fully equipped base, is by taking it from an established mad scientist who has what he needs.

Where will he find one? And will it be a base taken from a hero or a lair from a supervillain? Becoming desperate to work on his projects, Theo may not even care.

Nova Academy: Bases & Lairs is in Review

Nova Academy: Bases & Lairs is in "Review" for publication on Amazon.com for Kindle and Print. (Which means it could be 72 hours before it is finalized and ready for purchase -- I'll update everyone everywhere when it goes live.)

I feel good saying you will love (like?) Bases & Lairs even more than Heroes & Villains. This is my third book and my story telling and writing skills have improved immensely.

The rush I'm felling right now feels really, really good. Thanks to anyone who has been waiting for your patience. I know it was too long in coming. I am starting on Book 3 straight away as I will not have that much of a delay between books again (I've had a lot going on in the last year).

I've just ordered a sample print book for Nova Academy: Bases & Lairs. Assuming it is ready for publishing (I'm pretty sure it's ready), Book 2 in the Nova Academy Series will be out in about a week (or less).
